VortexOS

Vortex OS refers to a historical software development project, often distributed as a Windows executable file (.exe). It is best described as a self-contained virtual environment or "fake OS" that ran safely on top of the host operating system, specifically Windows. It did not function as a traditional, bare-metal operating system. It was designed primarily to run a custom scripting language called Vertex (VParse), and its focus on multitasking capabilities provided a platform for complex scripts and applications contained entirely within this environment.
